THE BRIEF
Janger were looking to update their current B2B website with a B2C overhaul. Incorporating the new brand identity, the site must be authentic, honest & fun with e-commerce capabilities.

BUSINESS NEEDS
-  Educate the user on the new-to-market product
- Needs a E-commerce store
- Communicate the environmental advantages of the product
- B to B section
- Need a way for companies to know we can co-brand

CONSIDERATIONS
The platform needed an e-commerce store front, using third-party sites are cost effective and future proof.

Previous market research conclusions indicated that the product should to be shown various uses cases so that it was clear what the product can do. This could be in image/video form and needed to be for uses other than hanging clothes.

DISCOVERY

STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS
Stakeholder sessions took place to understand the need for the shift to a more customer facing site and what was needed on appease the BtoB prospective clients. This was a very useful exercise to do with the client as we spoke through many aspects and a clearer understanding of what was needed came out of it.
COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
Looking at single product websites helped to shape the content needs required for this project, introductions to the product was key as well as striking imagery. From this research, it was noted that animations played a large part in the communication of the product, this is something that would later be incorporated into the site.
CSS ANIMATIONS
Using scroll based animations were considered to compliment to the illustrations and make them come to life for the online audience.
USER JOURNEYS
User journeys were created to make sure a user got to a task with the least amount of steps possible, this was critical for the purchase journey, but also important for FAQ's to cut down on administration time.
WIREFRAMES
Low and hi-fi wireframes were created for each page, these were discussed and signed off by the stakeholders at every stage. Considerations needed to be made for mobile vs desktop and adaptions were made to fit purpose. As we were using a third-party site for the e-commerce section of the platform, limitations occurred and overcome.

THE OUTPUT

A bespoke e-commerce responsive website was created to educate the user on the new-to-market product. From initial market research feedback it was necessary to show use cases for the product, which were incorporated across the site through imagery but also a stand alone page.

A customised Shopify site was created for the e-commerce element to handle sales and payment. A BtoB section was provided to house information such as co-branding, wholesale and use in stores to encourage larger orders and aim sales staff.

The visual style is fun, engaging and represents the bold branding of the product.

POST-RELEASE DATA INSIGHT

After two months of the shop being live, a look at the data was undertaken to see any patterns or areas could be improved. It was noticed that the majority of products sold were those on the homepage and sales of products not on the homepage were lower.

As a test, more products were added to the homepage to include products that were not selling as well, this saw a significant increase in sales on the additional products. The decision was made to include more products as a permanent change to the site, due to the data insight.
